We shall be strictly adhering to the NHS and General Optical Councils guidelines regarding the use of PPE and sterilising of all equipment, frames, lenses and work surfaces, adding a number of additions to our normal cleaning routine, using the highest classification of disinfectants, UV sterilisers, alcohol solution and antibacterial wipes.
The health and safety of our patients and staff is of primary concern, and we want both patients and staff to feel safe and confident about visiting us.
Should you still not be able to visit us for a sight test, repair or replacement of spectacles, please contact us, and we may be able to rearrange a home visit.

It is vital to protect your eyes from the harmful uv rays of the sun, which can cause cataracts and macular degeneration. Lenses must have uv protection. Just wearing dark lenses can do more harm than good,as this causes the pupil to dilate and let in even more harmful uv rays.
