It is vital to protect your eyes from the harmful uv rays of the sun, which can cause cataracts and macular degeneration. Lenses must have uv protection. Just wearing dark lenses can do more harm than good,as this causes the pupil to dilate and let in even more harmful uv rays.

Polarising a lens can have an enormous effect on the clarity of vision and for driving ,water sports and fishing the benefits are huge. Lens colours can vary, light medium and dark shades of grey,brown ,green,rose and blue all give different effects and hues which work for differing light conditions and sporting activities.
